Survival Flight Inc. is a premier emergency medical transportation company dedicated to medical transportation focusing on the quality of care to our patients and their safety with medical transportation. Our mission and purpose is serving our customers with unsurpassed and rapid medical services to save lives.
Our top priority is to extend and enhance a patient’s life by safely providing transport delivery to an immediate in-house medical staff and facility. We passionately serve those who have unexpectedly found themselves threatened by life’s unforeseen situations and devote everything we do to ensure our patients get our full focus and expertise to preserve and enhance their safety until they are transported to the medical care they require. Survival Flight also values the importance of family which is why all Survival Flight vehicles are third rider equipped. This capability allows a patient’s family member to fly with their loved one when necessary. This capability is a true advantage especially in the case when a pediatric patient is flown because a parent or other loved one can fly with the child.
Survival Flight currently has bases in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee but will travel anywhere in the United States where our services are needed. Survival Flight utilizes Bell Helicopters and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. The Pilatus PC-12 is dispatched just as a helicopter, does not have to be scheduled in advance and can fly when weather does not permit a helicopter to fly.
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems will conduct an accreditation site visit of Survival Flight on May 23 and 24, 2022.
The purpose of the site visit will be to evaluate the program’s compliance with nationally established medical transport standards. The site visit results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which accreditation should be awarded to the program.
CAMTS accreditation standards deal with issues of patient care and safety of the transport environment. Anyone believing that he or she has pertinent or valid information about such matters may request a public information interview with the CAMTS site surveyors at the time of the site visit. Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the accreditation process. Requests for public information interviews must be made in writing and sent to CAMTS no later than 10 business days before the site survey begins. The request should also indicate the nature of the information to be provided during the interview. Such request should be addressed to: ADMIN@CAMTS.ORG
The Commission will acknowledge such written requests in writing or by telephone and will inform the program of the request for an interview. The Commission will, in turn, notify the interviewee of the date, time and place of the meeting.
This notice is posted in accordance with CAMTS requirements.
